Staffordshire University

A poster questioning if the planet was getting warmer was spotted from Staffs Uni....Upon return it had been replaced by this more inncocennt looking poster....
Until you look closer and realise it is promoting Nuclear Power!!! Which is not a sustainable energy source by anyone's definition.

    The appalling Express & Star article by Nigel Hastilow on climate change (Oct 18) needs our attention. This was the Thursday edition delivered free to many Stafford households. Can we find some people who will write on this? I've sent a letter, but as they published one by me on October 18 they may not want it.

    Hastilow is a former editor of the Birmingham Post and was Conservative Party candidate for Birmingham Edgbaston in the 2001 general election. In April 2007 he was prospective Conservative parliamentary candidate for the Conservative Party Halesowen and Rowley Regis but stepped down after he received criticism about a newspaper column he wrote for the Express & Star which included the statement "Enoch Powell was right".

    Hell, they are claiming that Hitler was right these days....Good ideas bad implementation kind of thing...
